Goodreads Summary: Alyssa Gardner has been down the rabbit hole and faced the bandersnatch. She saved the life of Jeb, the guy she loves, and escaped the machinations of the disturbingly seductive Morpheus and the vindictive Queen Red. Now all she has to do is graduate high school and make it through prom so she can attend the prestigious art school in London she’s always dreamed of. That would be easier without her mother, freshly released from an asylum, acting overly protective and suspicious. And it would be much simpler if the mysterious Morpheus didn’t show up for school one day to tempt her with another dangerous quest in the dark, challenging Wonderland—where she (partly) belongs. As prom and graduation creep closer, Alyssa juggles Morpheus’s unsettling presence in her real world with trying to tell Jeb the truth about a past he’s forgotten. Glimpses of Wonderland start to bleed through her art and into her world in very disturbing ways, and Morpheus warns that Queen Red won’t be far behind. If Alyssa stays in the human realm, she could endanger Jeb, her parents, and everyone she loves. But if she steps through the rabbit hole again, she’ll face a deadly battle that could cost more than just her head.

**Possible spoilers so be warned!**

I think I actually liked Unhinged more than I liked Splintered! Unhinged was more in the human world than in Wonderland. At first, I was a little upset. I missed that world and just the whole twisted, macabre feeling of it but then as I got into the book, I felt like A.G. Howard made an awesome decision because it didn’t lose that feeling at all. I loved the parts about Alyssa’s parents and finding out that both of them had actually been in Wonderland at some time in their life.
I still can’t decide between Team Jeb or Team Morpheus! There were times where I was clearly on one side and then one of them would come in and say something romantic (or in Morpheus’ case, sarcastic and irritating in an attractive way) and then I would completely switch sides again! So for now, I’m still Team Jebpheus!
THE ENDING! It was my absolute favorite part! Even though I want to find out what happened to everyone, I thought the ending was absolutely perfect! I just can’t get over it! I can’t wait to read Ensnared and A.G. Howard has definitely become one of my auto-buy authors. I’m hoping she has something else planned after this series! Also, I have a book hangover from this book! Lol 🙂 I just can’t get interested in another book. Any good book suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
