I still have a hard time forming an opinion about this book. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. The first part seemed a little too slow and I was waiting for something more exciting. Then when it got to the action part of the story, it seemed like things were too fast, even concerning emotions or certain things being too convenient. Aside from this story having some pacing issues, I did like the story line and my first name is Summer so it was nice to read a book with a character that has that name.

Review for Cookie Love

This book, in my opinion, is the perfect example of a comforting cookbook. Cookies remind me of my grandma’s house and baking with her when I was little so this book is just perfect. I love the different recipes. They all sound like they would taste amazing. I can’t wait to try some of them out and share these cookies with my family.

So I don’t think I could have received this book at a more ironic time! I had just gotten home from school and I messed up my egg practical. It just wasn’t going right. So when I came home to this book, it was perfect! I love all of the recipes and it even has some we’ve used at school before like creme brulee and dobos cake. I’m really excited to try the rest of the recipes and I’m glad I got to add this book to my collection.
